New Book: Learning Chinese in Diasporic Communities

CERES Co-Director Andy Hancock has co-edited a book ‘Learning Chinese in Diasporic Communities: Many Pathways to being Chinese’ with Xiao Lan Curdt-Christiansen. The book published by John Benjamins addresses the importance of sociocultural, educational and linguistic environments across the globe that create, enhance or limit the ways in which diasporic children and young people acquire the ‘Chinese’ language.
