A new powerful article by Henry Dee has charted the rise of The Lothian Black Forum (LBF) and Anti-Racist Protests in Edinburgh from 1989-1992. The LBF rose to prominence through its 1989 campaign to recognise the murder of Axmed Abuukar Sheekh as a racist crime.

Former CERES Director Rowena Arshad was a founding member of the LBF, and has contributed her memories to the article.
